Fall Floral Arranging

Autumn Gathered: A Fall Floral Arranging Workshop

Learn the basics of building into a vase, with a hands-on floral arranging workshop centered on the rich, warm hues of fall. In this cozy, seasonal session, you'll build a one-of-a-kind arrangement using locally sourced blooms whenever possible, layered with textured foliage and seasonal stems in deep oranges, rusts, and burgundies. Ideal for a hearth, sideboard, or entryway.

Work alongside floral designer June Mena of Ceres Botanical as she guides you through composition, layering, and color balance, helping you create an arrangement that feels lush, textured, and a little wild; perfect for your fall table or a thoughtful gift for someone you love.

Sip a specialty organic blend from Hampstead Teas or try our seasonal cocktail while you create, and enjoy an evening of making with your neighbors.

Ticket includes:

  • All flowers, foliage, and materials

  • Vessel to take your arrangement home in

  • All tools and instruction

  • Specialty tea or fall cocktail of your choice

Instructor: June Mena is a floral designer and grower who founded Ceres Botanical, a Richmond-based design studio focused on highlighting local flowers in the creation of stunning arrangements. She began her floral career as a grower, working on Prospect Hill Flower Farm, near Richmond, VA. After designing bouquets for the farmer’s market, she began to turn to cut flower practices and found she was drawn to creating unique table centerpieces. She currently designs for local restaurants, weddings, and other events, utilizing sustainable design principles and a naturalistic, lush style.
